ALTA Surveys
An ALTA/NSPS Survey is a detailed survey performed by a registered licensed surveyor and prepared in accordance with standards specified by the American Land Title Association and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys are a comprehensive boundary survey designed to satisfy the needs of lenders, corporations and title companies for commercial property development. ALTA surveys apply more stringent requirements than typical boundary surveys.
Standards are governed by the “2026 MINIMUM STANDARD DETAIL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALTA/NSPS LAND TITLE SURVEYS,” effective as of February 2026.
